Piteå School of Music (Grönlund organ) sampleset
The organ featured in this sampleset was built in 1989 by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri AB (a very high standard organ building company that has the resources, experience and knowledge to produce every part of an organ themselves) for Piteå School of Music (a part of Luleå University of Technology), Sweden.
If you're seriously interested in getting a high quality learning opportunity especially on the organ, Piteå School of Music is the place to go! Well known and extremely skilled professors in organ are Hans-Ola Ericsson and Gary Verkade. The school will happily accept foreign students.

The recording of the samples was done in December 2010 by Lars Palo with a M-Audio Microtrack II and two Studio Projects B1 condenser microphones. The recording settings were stereo 24 bit and 96000 Hz samplerate.
The sampleset is created by Lars Palo, Graham Goode and Panos Ghekas in a joint effort. Noise reduction of the samples was made with Nick Appletons Noise Reduce software (ported to Linux, you'll have to ask Nick for it if you'd like to try it instead of the windows version!).
