Error Log
jOrgan creates an error log at "./jorgan/app.log inside your user home directory.” This file can be read with a Text Editor.
The leading dot indicates that /jorgan/ is a hidden folder.
The entries shown below indicate the location of the app.log file, followed by the sequence which may be needed
to show hidden folders/files. This sequence is toggle in action (i.e. it is used also to make hidden those folders/files).
Windows 10
This PC > C: > Users > … > .jorgan > app.log
(… is the User name you have specified – probably your name).
To show hidden folders:
Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options > View > Advanced > Show hidden
files … > OK
For other Windows versions, a Google search with “show hidden files on Windows ...” should indicate
how to show the .jorgan folder.
Linux (Ubuntu)
Files > Home > .jorgan > app.log
(Depending on how you set up your computer, this may be:
Files > Home > User name > .jorgan > app.log)
Use CTRL H to show hidden folders.
The hidden folders may be listed after the normal ones.
Raspberry Pi
Files > Home > /pi/ > .jorgan > app.log
(Depending on how you set up your computer, this may be:
Files > Home > User name > .jorgan > app.log)
Use CTRL H to show hidden folders.
Mac
The absolute path is: /root/username/.jorgan
To show hidden folders, use COMMAND + SHIFT + . (period)
