Software sound generators

Most wikipedia:PCs have enough power and memory size to run software sound generators decently.

Sampler

Software Samplers are a very good alternative to other sound producers. They are known to outperform their hardware brethren by wikipedia:Polyphony (instrument) and sound quality.

You will have to install a virtual Midi port (see Windows and Linux) for jOrgan to be able to communication with these programs.
